The Upstate Healthcare Coalition will facilitate coordination and cooperation and serve as a resource throughout the region to assist partners in preparing for, responding to, mitigating against, and recovering from emergent health and medical events.

Preparing and Serving

To serve as a resource in the development of regional plans for the management of healthcare infrastructure response to emergencies and/or disasters based on deliverables from the Centers for Disease Control and/or the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response.

Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) Grants

Assist Health Care and First Response Communities with ASPR Funding opportunities.

Active Coalition Parnters

Being an active member of the Coalition involves several responsibilities:

Participation in at least 75% of Coalition meetings.
Engagement in weekly radio tests to ensure communication readiness, where applicable.
Attendance at training and educational events sponsored by the Coalition.
Active participation in responses to events, demonstrating the organization's commitment to effective and coordinated emergency management.
